'Tis the Season for Giving...

Alumni, friends, and current families are invited to join us for a Family Christmas Gift Wrapping Party sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.

Join student members of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) for a gift wrapping party filled with holiday cheer! Bring your family and enjoy hot chocolate, treats, holiday crafts, and songs with a special appearance by Santa himself!

Each family is asked to bring one toy to donate. See 'Gift Guidelines and Suggestions' below.

SAA members will wrap the gifts to be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence at their annual Christmas Party.

If you are unable to attend, but would still like to help, we are gladly accepting unwrapped toys and gifts until Friday, Dec. 8, at 2:00 PM. bring your gift to the Main Office at Central Catholic, indicating that it is for the Institutional Advancement Office.

Gift Guidelines & Suggestions

  • If you purchase a game or toy that requires batteries, please provide them.
  • The highest need is gifts for kids ages 11-13.

About the Student Alumni Association

The purpose of the S.A.A. is to encourage current students to actively participate in the Alumni Association while they are students. S.A.A. shall strive to build meaningful relationships between students and alumni, utilize mentorships, alumni networks, and fundraising efforts to ensure a bright future for our community.  

The S.A.A. will work to instill a feeling of tradition in past and present Raiders and create a sense of home that lasts beyond graduation.  

Students who participate in the S.A.A. also have the opportunity to meet and network with alumni through volunteer opportunities during the year, including:

  • Homecoming/Reunion Weekend
  • Alumni Golf Classic
  • Peter O’Sullivan ’67 Road Race
  • Yearbook Signing and Six Month Reunion
  • Alumni Networking Events
  • Other Special Events Sponsored by the IA Office
